The Gud Lyf

I didn’t become a coach because I had it figured out. I became one because I know what it’s like to lose your way.

There was a stretch where I’d lost myself a bit. Looking in the mirror and not really recognising the person looking back.

Motivated Monday. Trained Tuesday. Gone by Thursday. Every single time.

So I did something I’d never actually done before, I hired a coach instead of trying to figure it out alone again.

That’s what actually changed it. Not more willpower, just someone who noticed when I didn’t show up.

Then I went further. 32 weeks of prep, weighing every meal, planning my whole week around gym sessions. It was great for the stage but my life took a back seat. That’s how I know the all-or-nothing version isn’t the answer for most people.

Eventually I left the career I’d spent years building and went all in on this, so I could help other people stop repeating the same cycle.

Now when a client tells me they’ve tried before and it didn’t stick, I actually know what that feels like, because I lived that exact cycle myself before it finally clicked.
